Is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Landscape Alliance (CIFOR and ICRAF in Action) where he leads the institution’s initiative on science diplomacy. He also an Independent Board Member of the Kenya Space Agency (KSA). An alumnus of the AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy,

He has served as a member and Chair of the Advisory Board of the United Nations University–Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) from 2020 to 2025, and as the Africa Centre Director of the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) from 2019 to 2025. An expert in environmental policy, holds a PhD in Geography from McGill University, Canada, and an MSc in Conservation Biology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
